The Gypsy Bits/Gypsy Wheel App is intended to be the interface between an individual Gypsy Wheel device and the owner/user of that device.
No data is collected or transmitted to any third party.
The Gypsy Wheel device incorporates a Bluetooth transmitter which relays the weight measurement determined in the Gypsy Wheel itself to the user's smart phone or other Bluetooth enabled device.
This is for the purpose of displaying the weight measurement in a convenient way on the user's device only.
The App includes a unique formula which enables the calculation of the weight at a distance away from the position of the Gypsy wheel itself. Two of the inputs for the calculation are entered by the user and the third input is the weight transmitted from the Gypsy Wheel.
When the Tow Ball weight option is selected and the two user input dimensions are entered, the App calculates the weight at the selected point on the trailer, usually the tow ball point.
